I just wanted to quickly introduce myself and describe what to except here.

Who am I?

So, I’m Kai. I’ve been working in game development for more than 5 years at this point. I started as a Unity programmer, but quickly fell in love with technical art, so I became (you guessed it) a technical artist!

What to expect here?

I am mostly interested in procedural generation (both 3D and textures/materials), environment art and shader development. So naturally, most of my projects and posts will be about that, something like breakdowns or even tutorials.

Tools I use

In my work I primarily use Unreal Engine, Unity, Blender, Houdini, Substance Designer/Painter and some programming languages, including Python, VEX, C#, C++ and sometimes even Rust.
